Linda Shipman, 47, died in her Beech Grove home on September 22 of severe anaphylactic shock. Ms. Shipman, who according to her Pet Smart co-workers is never known to have married or to have had a serious relationship of any kind with a human, is survived by 38 cats. The Marion County Coroner reports that Ms. Shipman developed a sudden, cumulative allergy to cat dander.
