Comedic actor Craig Robinson, 41, best known for his roles as Darryl Philbin on the television show The Office and as Nick in the feature film Hot Tub Time Machine, was killed August 19 in his Hancock Park, CA home after the video clip he posted to a popular comedy web site was deemed “not funny” by the site’s management and viewers. A spokesman for the site, James Lafferty, was quoted as saying “We hated to have to do it. We liked Craig, and he was usually at least a little bit funny. Not like laugh funny, but at least crack a half-smile or two funny. This latest video, though, left us no choice. We've taken it down, but did you see that thing? Wow. But hey, he knew the risks – I mean, it’s right there in our name.”
