Rebecca Saunders, 27, died September 15 in the
Best Chocolate in Town shop on Massachusetts Avenue when a 140 quart mixing
bowl of chocolate slipped off its lift, smothering her under its scalding,
viscous, delicious contents. Ms. Saunders was working on a batch of the store’s
newest truffle flavor, which was to be called “Death by Chocolate.” Store owner
Elizabeth Garber reports that a new name for the flavor will be forthcoming.
