Marla M. Boling Simpkins, 56, died September 2 in her home. Mrs. Simpkins was attempting to hang a sign that read “I BITE THE LETTER CARRIER” around the neck of her 120lb bull mastiff named Mr. Cuddlewuddles in order to take a photograph for the online blog "dog-shaming.com" when her attempt at the popular human practice of “dog shaming” became an incident of the popular dog practice of “human mauling.”
